Ba Be National Park Trekking and River Kayaking (3 Days)

Ba Be is Vietnam’s largest natural lake and is now the center piece of an extensive National Park. The park and the surrounding area is limestone country, so lakes, waterfalls, caves and unusual rock formations abound. The whole area is richly forested and is home to many ethnic minority communities. Ba Be National Park has been recognized as a Natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
This Ba Be National Park Trekking and Ba Be lake kayaking offers you a fun combined adventure at easy grade. It is suitable for anyone at reasonable lever of personal fitness. The highlights of this tour include of paddling on the lake, jungle trek and home-stay.

Day 1: Hanoi – Ba Be Lake – Bo Lu Village (L, D).

8:00 am met up with Lotussia Travel guide and leave Hanoi for Ba Be National Park, the biggest natural lake in northern Vietnam. Ba Be Lake is a famous Nature World Heritage Site which also called “Ha Long bay on mountain”. We will have a stop for refreshment in Thai Nguyen. Quick visit to Thai Nguyen Museum of ethnology to learn about different ethnic minorities in northern Vietnam. Continue to Bac Kan for lunch. After lunch, we continue to Ba Be. Upon arrival in NP, we take a short boat ride to Bo Lu Village. Tonight we will have dinner and overnight in local house.

Day 2: Ba Be National Park trekking. Bo Lu Village – Puong Cave - Dau Dang Waterfall (B, L, D).

We will have a short Boat trip on Ba Be lake to starting point where we begin a short walk through jungle. At some rest place we can have great view of Ba Be Lake. After 1hr trekking we descend to the lake shore and cross a bridge to An Ma Island. Visit to the temple on the island before we start the kayaking time. Leave the island we paddle to Puong Cave, a huge natural tunnel through mountain. Continue to Dau Dang Waterfall where we will have a picnic lunch in a beautiful natural setting of the waterfall. After lunch we paddle back to Ba Be Lake. If weather permits we can swim in the emeraude cool water of the lake. Paddle back to Bo Lu village for another night at the home-stay.

Day 3: Ba Be National Park – Ha Noi (B, L).

Breakfast at the home stay. Today we coming back to Hanoi on the long way we stop to visit Cho Chu prison which was built in 1942, captured many Vỉetnam revolution politicians (Việt Cộng) then have lunch in the local restaurant. Back to Hanoi in the late afternoon. The tour end.
